Myron Curry is a self-taught artist from Seattle’s historically Black Central District. His work ranges from large murals and portraits to spontaneous realism and abstract art. Myron’s work blends various styles and mediums creating his own dynamic artistic perspective. Through his art, he strives to give a voice to marginalized groups and tell stories that might not otherwise be heard.
Join Sankofa Impact at our Open House this Thursday, October 5th from 4pm to 7pm for an unveiling of a new mural by Myron Curry made for our office. Around 5 o’clock, Myron will speak about his creative process and then we will unveil the custom piece. Sankofa Impact is proud to share this vibrant artwork with our community that centers the voice of Black women and our vision of collective liberation. We’ll see you there!
